Sometimes, the most unforgettable auditions don’t begin on stage — they start outside.

That’s exactly what happened to Samantha “Meave” Pearson, a street performer from Niagara Falls. She was singing near the Canada’s Got Talent venue, just doing what she always does — performing for strangers and hoping someone would notice.

And someone did.

Howie Mandel heard her voice and made a spontaneous decision: instead of walking past, he invited her inside to audition on the spot.
