Touching Tribute Actress Hayden Panettiere honored her late brother Jansen on his would-be 29th birthday with an emotional Instagram post. She shared a childhood holiday photo, writing, “Happy Birthday little brother. I miss you every day. I’ll love you forever.”
Cause of Death Jansen, also involved in the film industry, passed away suddenly in February. He was found unresponsive by friends after missing a meeting. The family later revealed that he died of cardiomegaly, or an enlarged heart, coupled with aortic valve complications.
Family Statement “Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile,” the family stated. “His charisma, warmth, compassion for others, and his creative spirit will live forever in our hearts and in the hearts of all whom he encountered.”
Hayden’s Struggles A source told ET, “Hayden is absolutely heartbroken,” emphasizing the close bond she shared with Jansen. This adds another layer of difficulty for Hayden, who has openly discussed her own struggles with addiction and relinquished custody of her daughter in 2018.
