Images of Patient 1, Patient 2, and Patient 3 show their appearances prior to facial transplantation (A–C) and following facial transplantation along with all subsequent revision surgeries (D–F). Based on the senior author’s experience treating these three face transplant recipients, secondary modifications of facial allografts appear to be safe and capable of delivering favorable long-term outcomes.
