Insider reveals distressing details about Prince Andrew’s life behind palace walls

Prince Andrew no longer holds royal titles. The disgraced prince gave up his titles last week after new allegations against him and his connections to late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein came to light. Now, a royal insider has revealed details about how he was really like – and it’s not a pleasant read.

Last week, Prince Andrew denounced his royal titles. He said the accusations against him and his connections with Jeffrey Epstein are a “distraction” from the Royal Family’s work, while continuing to deny all accusations.

The statement came just days before sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre, who took her life earlier this year, released her posthumous memoir.

“In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life,” Andrew wrote in the statement.

“With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further. I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

Exactly what Prince Andrew is like in private, it’s been like talking about. However, in biographer Andrew Lownie’s book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, one insider makes shocking claims about how the disgraced prince acted.

Book reveals shocking claim about how Prince Andrew was like in private

For example, the insider recalled one time when someone used an incorrect title for the Queen Mother. Andrew allegedly called them a “f*cking imbecile.”

“He would talk to the staff, including me, as an officer talks to his subordinates. He would say things such as: ‘I want this done and I want it done now’ or ‘Have that done by such and such a time.’ I remember him always saying ‘Do it!’ which was his catchphrase of sorts,” the source, who remains anonymous, claimed, adding that they don’t think Andrew was “a particularly nice person.”

“I remember nearly telling him where to go when he came into Clarence House and wanted something wrapped,” the source continued. “He looked at me and barked, ‘You, wrap that!’ And pointed to some object. I just thought, you rude, ignorant sod, and felt like decking him.”

That Andrew was rude in private appears to have extended to his behavior at social gatherings as well.

“He was as charming as a bull in a china shop and continued to make inappropriate jokes. He’s the most out of touch royal I’ve ever met and I’ve met lots. He really does believe in the Divine Right of Kings,” one journalist who met him at a party was quoted as saying.
