Furious Donald Trump ‘cursed’ and ‘threw maps’ as he gave Zelenskyy ultimatum: report

Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelenskyy met at the White House last week. However, the meeting between the two world leaders didn’t end well. Reports suggest the US president completely lost it.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine is still very much ongoing. Talks about solving the war have been happening. As late as last week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the White House to meet Donald Trump. However, things didn’t turn out great.

Per the Financial Times, Donald Trump and Zelenskyy had a loud argument where the Ukrainian leader failed to get the Tomahawk missiles to his home country.

Just as in February, there was a big tension in the Oval Office when Trump and Zelenskyy met. The Financial Times reported that Trump allegedly was “cursing all the time,” during the meeting, which eventually ended up becoming a “shouting match.”

The US president warned that if Zelenskyy didn’t agree to the terms for ending the Russian invasion, Putin would “destroy” Ukraine.

Reports suggest that Trump wants Zelenskyy to give up the entire Donbas region. However, eventually, the US agreed to back a freeze on the current frontlines.

Donald Trump ‘shouted’ and ‘cursed’ at Zelenskyy during White House meeting, report claims

Volodymyr Zelenskyy had hopes to be provided with the advanced Tomahawk cruise missile. However, Trump said he was hesitant to use the US supply, although he had a few days earlier stated that he seriously thought about sending the missile to help strike back against Russia.¨

“I have an obligation also to make sure that we’re completely stocked up as a country, because you never know what’s going to happen in war and peace,” Trump said publicly. “We’d much rather have them not need Tomahawks. We’d much rather have the war be over to be honest.”

Even so, the meeting at the White House between Trump and Zelenskyy turned into a shouting match. One European official claimed to the Financial Times that Donald Trump told Zelenskyy that he needed to agree to a deal or face destruction.

The US president reportedly said, “If (Putin) wants it, he will destroy you.”

Moreover, Donald Trump reportedly ‘threw a map’ of the front of the table, stating that he was “sick” of it.

Trump says “enough blood has been shed”

“This red line, I don’t even know where this is. I’ve never been there,” Trump reportedly said.

Shortly after the meeting with the Ukrainian president, Trump took to social media, stating, “Enough blood has been shed, with property lines being defined by War and Guts. They should stop where they are. Let both claim Victory, let History decide!”
