Andrew Cabot, Husband of Former Astronomer HR Executive Kristin Cabot, Shares Statement After Coldplay Concert Kiss Cam Moment

After a viral kiss cam moment at a Coldplay concert, Kristin Cabot has quietly filed for divorce,

adding another twist to the story. Kristin, former Chief People Officer at Manhattan-based tech firm Astronomer,

filed for divorce from her husband, Massachusetts entrepreneur Andrew Cabot, on August 13,

2025—just weeks after being spotted on the stadium screen with her company’s CEO, Andy Byron.

On September 8, Andrew issued a statement through a spokesperson clarifying that he and Kristin had

already separated weeks before the concert. He described the split as amicable and asked for privacy for his family.

The kiss cam moment, filmed July 16 at Gillette Stadium, quickly went viral and fueled discussion about workplace relationships

and professional boundaries. Public records show Kristin was previously married to Kenneth Thornby before marrying Andrew,

COO of Privateer Rum, a family-owned Massachusetts distillery. Andrew’s career spans technology,

education, and the spirits industry, with degrees from Northeastern, UCLA, and Harvard.

The couple purchased a home in Rye, New Hampshire, in February 2025. Since the viral incident, Kristin has deactivated her social media,

while Andrew has stayed quiet. Their divorce case is ongoing, with a court date set for November 26, 2025.
