Bernard Perry, 82, went missing during a snowstorm and his wife called 911 for he could not be found anywhere. Trooper Tyler Harrington had just begun his shift and he jumped into action.
When Tyler noticed Bernard he was off the roadway in the ditch. He was suffering from severe hypothermia and frostbites and was unable to speak. Tyler carried Bernard to his car, wrapped him in a blanket and took him to a hospital to recover.
Thanks to Trooper Tyler Harrington, Bernard was brought to safety and avoided a tragedy for the family. Being humble Tyler explained he was just doing his job and any law enforcement or any civilian would have done the same thing.
Kudos to all the state troopers who do their duty with honesty and serve their communities.
