Christina Applegate shares raw update from hospital after kidney infection

Always charming Christina Applegate shared her recent health struggle, explaining she was admitted to the hospital with severe kidney infection that started with one of her kidneys but then spread to the other one too.

Applegate, who also has multiple sclerosis, said in an episode of her“MeSsy” podcast, “I’m holding in (a) bag o’ tears right now. Just (a) bag o’ tears. I sometimes fall into the nurse’s arms like a freako, just crying.”

She recorded it while still at the hospital but has since been released.

I was in the hospital for seven days,” she said. “I’m home now, getting treated for the kidney infection, but my stomach issues are still a mystery we’re trying to solve.”
