1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt

1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
12 tbsp chilled, grated butter
1/2 cup boiling water
For cinnamon sugar topping:

1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, mix peaches, lemon juice, 1/2 cup sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and salt. Transfer to a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Bake the peach filling for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, mix flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add grated butter and toss. Stir in boiling water until lumpy.
Spoon topping over hot peach filling. Mix 1/3 cup sugar with 2 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle over topping.
