After returning from a business trip, Stella’s first order of business was to check her security footage. To her surprise,
she saw the Jacobs er troublesome neighbors who had often complained about her pool construction throwing a big 4th of July
party in her pool without permission. They were splashing around and treating her backyard like their own, despite her absence.
Furious at their blatant trespassing and hypocrisy, Stella confronted Mrs. Jacobs. Instead of apologizing, Mrs.
Jacobs brushed it off, saying Stella barely used the pool anyway. Stella was done being the neighborhood doormat.
She printed photos from the security footage and posted warning signs all over the neighborhood, exposing the Jacobs’
behavior to everyone. When the Jacobs demanded she remove the posters, Stella stood her ground and called the
police. With video evidence clearly showing the trespassing, the officers advised that
Stella was within her rights to press charges, though she chose to give a warning for now. The Jacobs left furious
and embarrassed, and Stella finally felt empowered, knowing she had set firm boundaries with her difficult
