Michelle, an 80-year-old woman in a wheelchair, was devastated when her sons, Simon and Kevin, broke their promise
and placed her in a nursing home just before her 81st birthday. Despite her pleas to stay in the home left by
her late husband, they forced her out, planning to sell the house and use the money for themselves.
A week later, Michelle’s grandson, Brad, returned from New York and was shocked to learn what had happened.
Outraged by his father and uncle’s betrayal, Brad visited Michelle and vowed to make things right.
He tracked down the home’s new owner and bought it back for $300,000—more than it had sold for.
Brad surprised Michelle by taking her home and restoring everything as she remembered, even placing her
husband’s photos and favorite plants just as they were. He moved in to care for her, severing ties with Simon and Kevin, who later apologized
