We usually use our washing machine for clothes, but it can do so much more! Many everyday items quietly collect dirt, dust, and bacteria without us realizing it.
Oven Gloves and Dishcloths:
Kitchen fabrics soak up grease and germs. Wash them weekly at 60°C for a hygienic refresh.
Microfiber Mops and Cloths:
To prevent spreading dirt, toss washable mops and cloths in at 60°C too.
Canvas and Tote Bags:
Used daily, they carry dust and stains. Wash gently at 30–40°C, placing them inside a pillowcase for protection.
Shower Curtains and Bath Mats:
Humidity encourages mold. Wash at 40°C with white vinegar to keep them fresh.
Stuffed Animals and Comforters:
Kids’ favorites can hide bacteria. Wash inside a laundry net at 30–40°C with a splash of white vinegar.
Canvas Sneakers and Sports Gear:
For gym bags, sneakers, and wristbands, wash at 30°C with mild detergent to keep everything clean and odor-free!
