The ex-wife of David Hasselhoff and the Baywatch star died at age 61

Actress Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff, who was David Hasselhoff’s wife from 1989 to 2006, has died. Her age was sixty-one. She was found dead at her Los Angeles residence on Wednesday, March 5, in what seems to be a suicide, according to TMZ. According to the outlet, family members who hadn’t heard from her went to see how she was doing and discovered that she had shot herself in the head.

The untimely death of Pamela Hasselhoff has left our family extremely grieved. We appreciate all of the love and support that has been shown to us during this trying time, but we respectfully ask for privacy while we grieve and work through this tough period.

She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on October 16, 1963. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Pamela pursued a career in acting and was cast in well-known TV shows and motion pictures.

Her most well-known performances were in soap operas, made-for-TV films, and guest appearances on television series including Knight Rider and Baywatch. She first starred on The Young and the Restless in 1991. She then made an appearance in the brief criminal thriller series Sirens.

She never achieved the same success in acting as her ex-husband, but she was nonetheless well-known in Hollywood and frequently appeared on television and red carpet events.

In 1989, Pamela wed David Hasselhoff, and the two went on to become a famous Hollywood marriage. Both Taylor and Hayley Hasselhoff, their two daughters, went on to pursue professions in entertainment. Hayley achieved fame as a plus-size model and reality TV star, while Taylor went on to become an actress and model. After being married for almost 17 years, the pair were divorced in 2006.

Two daughters, Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32, whom Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff shared with her ex-husband David Hasselhoff, survive her. Heartfelt tributes about her daughters and her grandchild were all over her Instagram. In August, Taylor and her spouse, Madison Fiore, who she married in February 2023, had a daughter, London.
