People Call For Adrien Brody To Be Banned From Oscars After ‘Disgusting’ Act

Adrien Brody is facing backlash after winning his second Best Actor Oscar for The Brutalist. While celebrating his victory,

the 51-year-old actor shocked viewers by throwing his gum at his girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, as he walked onstage. Chapman caught it, but social media erupted in disgust.

One person on X wrote, “Disgusting. Ban him.” Another added, “That’s so foul.” Critics slammed his “disrespectful” behavior, with some comparing it to Will Smith’s infamous slap.
