Mom told she couldn’t hold her twin babies & had to get off plane Then A Woman In Front Decides to Respond

When a mother of twins was told she couldn’t share a seat with both of her babies, another mom came to her rescue and kept her from getting kicked off the plane!

Have you ever flown with you child on your lap for an entire flight? I have and believe me, it’s no picnic. Which is why we are simply amazed by this story of a mother who offered to hold another mama’s little one while flying—even though they were total strangers.

Passenger Mackenzie Murphy was seated a few rows back and watched the whole heartwarming incident go down, then later took to the Love What Matters Facebook page in order to share the touching story.

“Yesterday, this woman on my flight had twin babies, probably under 6 months,” she wrote. “When she sat down on the plane, a flight attendant immediately told her she couldn’t hold both babies, and would have to leave the flight. A mother sitting in front of me volunteered to hold one of her babies for the entire flight.”

Pretty incredible! And get this—while the flight was originally supposed to be a quick 45 minutes, Murphy said they ended up sitting on the tarmac for 2-and-a-half hours!

“Without a complaint this woman fed the other woman’s baby and burped him,” she recounted. “Her own daughter started crying. This mom, so calmly, went on to explain to her young daughter that ‘our job is to help other people. This mom is all by herself with no help, and really needs another mom to help.’ She then went on to hold him, sing him songs, and then he slept the entire flight without even a cry. My heart still feels fuzzy. Moral of the story is when you see people needing help, do the right thing and help them.”

What an incredible act of kindness and a wonderful teaching moment for the rest of us about the beauty of paying it forward. It’s often so hard to ask for help, and so easy to forget that others need it. Which is why it’s so uplifting to hear about one mama stepping in to help another. Kinda restores your faith in humanity, doesn’t it?
