Jennifer, a single mother of four, was struggling after her husband left her. Desperate for work,
she found a housekeeping job in a nearby city but couldn’t afford the daily commute. She decided
to buy a used car but couldn’t get a loan due to bad credit. In order to raise the money, she sold
a gold necklace passed down from her late mother. With the $5,000, she bought the car, but when
she checked the trunk, she found an envelope with the $5,000 she had paid for it. The car dealer,
Jeff, had left the money for her, telling her he believed she needed it more than he did.
