Farmer Seeks Prayers Following Critical Injury

Somai’s negligence nearly cost him his life, serving as a cautionary tale for us all. After undergoing surgery to remove a massive tumor from his neck, Somai, a 55-year-old farmer from Basti, Uttar Pradesh, was fortunate to walk away with his life.

For two decades, Somai ignored the slow-growing lump on his neck, dismissing it as a swollen third gland. It wasn’t until the tumor reached nearly the size of his head that he sought medical attention.

The benign tumor, which was removed weighing approximately 1.4kg (about the same weight as three pints of milk), was a wake-up call for Somai about the importance of addressing health issues sooner.
