Woke Entertainer Goes Berserk Over New, Conservative Country Song

Woke country music artist Sheryl Crow made a scene on Twitter as she decided to join the popular trend of bashing Jason Aldean for his recent hit song “Try That In A Small Town.” In the song, Aldean vented about and expressed his disgust for the riots and looting that Americans have had to endure during the last ten years, as the trend has continued to worsen.

In the song, Aldean insinuates that while that kind of vagrant lawlessness may be easy to get away with for a criminal in a large city, that would not be the case should someone attempt to rob and burn a small town in blue-collar America. To Sheryl Crow, this was one step too far. So, she decided that it was time to speak up and push her radical leftist anti-gun beliefs across all of Twitter.

Crow wrote, “@Jason_Aldean I’m from a small town. Even people in small towns are sick of violence. There’s nothing small-town or American about promoting violence. You should know that better than anyone having survived a mass shooting. This is not American or small town-like. It’s just lame”

This Tweet came in response to another user who insinuated that since Aldean was present at the Las Vegas shooting, which killed 60 people in 2017, he must then become staunchly anti-second Amendment if he is to talk about criminals and self-defense.

Along with an image of the lyrics from the song, the user captioned, “.@Jason_Aldean – who was on-stage during the mass shooting at a Las Vegas concert in 2017 that killed 60 people and wounded over 400 more – has recorded a song called “Try That In A Small Town” about how he and his friends will shoot you if you try to take their guns.”

Thankfully, county music fans were quick to embarrass Crow for her horrible takes, with one saying, “Actually free speech is American as it gets and the only thing “lame” is you piping in for no reason. You live in Malibu, you don’t know [s***] about small towns.” Another user chimed in, saying, “Doesnt sound like promoting “violence”. Sounds more like protecting the ones you love and i support that 100 percent!”

That is exactly how this song was meant to be received. No, Aldean is not promoting pointless violence against anyone who is not threatening you. He is saying, using specific instances from the song, that folks who live in small towns will not allow someone to “Sucker punch somebody on a sidewalk” or
“Carjack an old lady at a red light.”

Apparently, self-defense is no longer a valid reason to use violence against some in this country. If if were up to people like Sheryl Crow, everyone would stand idly by as the criminals have their way with society. She would rather we simply try to accommodate their requests as best we can and hope that they don’t choose to harm us in return.
