FBI Director Questioned Whether A Gunshot Struck Trump’s Ear During The Attempted Assassination – Trump Responds Brutally

Donald Trump has blasted the director of the FBI for raising doubts about whether the bullet that struck him during a Pennsylvania event actually struck his ear.

During Trump’s July 13 rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, gunfire broke out.

The former president’s injuries were confirmed on social media when footage from the incident showed his hand flying to the side of his face and him emerging with a bloodied ear.

FBI director Christopher Wray questioned whether Trump’s ear was wounded by a bullet, to which the president has subsequently responded angrily.

Wray gave testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday, July 24, regarding the ongoing investigation into the events of July 13 and what has been determined to be an attempt on Trump’s life.

According to the FBI, eight spent shots were found near the gunman’s location, who has subsequently been identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, after authorities searched the scene and gathered evidence such as ammunition.

Wray continued: “With respect to former president Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear.

For illustration purposes only

“As I sit here right now, I don’t know whether that bullet… in addition to causing the grazing, could have landed somewhere else. But I believe we’ve accounted for all the shots in the cartridges.”

And Trump was quick to respond to Wray’s remarks on his social media network, Truth Social.

Trump declared, “FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn’t sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass, or a bullet (the FBI never even checked!), but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively ‘uneventful’ – Wrong!

“That’s why he knows nothing about the terrorists and other criminals pouring into our Country at record levels. His only focus is destroying J6 Patriots, Raiding Mar-a-Lago, and saving Radical Left Lunatics, like the ones now in D.C. burning American flags and spray painting over our great National Monuments – with zero retribution.”

“No, it was, unfortunately, a bullet that hit my ear, and hit it hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a ‘bullet wound to the ear’. No wonder the once storied FBI has lost the confidence of America!”
