Born into Hollywood aristocracy, Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt was an instant celebrity.

Anticipating a media circus surrounding the 2008 birth of twins Vivienne and Knox, parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took control of the situation and sold the rights to the first images of the newborns to People and Hello! The images were sold for $14 million, which was donated to their non-profit organization, the Maddox-Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2008, Brad Pitt spoke of the paparazzi violating their personal lives: “Well, we get run out of every major city. It’s what I’ve been b****ing about. These photographers are chasing the kids and calling their names.”
