TikToker Dene Masters shared the most beautiful video of her grandfather asking for his partner’s hand in marriage. At 85, he was ready to give love another shot. He even got down on one knee with a little help from a nearby chair!

In her video, Dene explained that her grandpa’s girlfriend was a widow herself. Both had been married for around 50 years before tragically losing their spouses. However, the elderly pair found comfort and companionship in one another. Now that Grandpa has proposed, this widow and widower are excited to live happily ever after for the second time.

Commenters were delighted by the sweet couple getting married again after all these years.

“Pawpaw has game,” one user wrote.

“My mother found love at 85 she died happy at 90 never say never,” added another.
