43 Surgeries to Look Like a Doll Spark Controversy

Dalia Naeem, 29, from Baghdad, has gained attention for undergoing around 43 cosmetic procedures in her quest to

resemble a Barbie doll. Known online as the “Iraqi Barbie,” her golden hair and striking features have sparked both admiration and criticism.

In a recent video, the actress and host appeared with her makeup artist, who told her, “You look so beautiful,

my dear. Like Barbie.” While some viewers agreed, others reacted harshly, calling her “Zombie Barbie”

or “Devil Barbie.” The mixed responses only fueled more curiosity about her dramatic transformation.

Dalia’s social media presence has grown rapidly. She now boasts more than 996,000 followers on Instagram and

nearly 44,000 on TikTok. Her bold style, characterized by a small nose, fuller lips, and doll-like makeup,

regularly draws attention. She often jokes with her audience, saying, “Your makeup is Barbie.”

Though she has not confirmed every procedure, reports suggest she’s had lip fillers, breast augmentation,

and multiple cosmetic enhancements. Her dedication to achieving a doll-like look has made her a widely discussed figure.

While some question the impact of beauty standards and plastic surgery, many admire her confidence.

Today, Dalia Naeem remains one of Iraq’s most talked-about cosmetic personalities.
